Gary,

Not sure if you have this one in your survey,

I don’t recognize that one but it doesn’t show a serial number.

You may have this already. S/N 534866, 30 WCF, 20″ octagonal barrel, solid frame, full magazine. I don’t have the rifle in hand but will measure the fore end and verify that it has a shotgun butt when it returns.

TX,

I already had this one, but was missing the fore-end length, and also had it as a crescent butt. Can you confirm either of these data points?

Thank you.

Yes, this is a new one for the list. Sounds like a very interesting, and appealing short rifle. How about some pics of this one?

Gary,

I was alerted to this Short Rifle…

http://www.gunsinternational.com/guns-for-sale-online/detail.cfm?gun_id=100816223&CFID=156034408&CFTOKEN=3eb5a40ef5d628a2-186798F5-C720-792A-530F8C918E62FF4E

Note that it has a factory checkered steel shotgun butt plate (Chris was interested in seeing one of these).

Great looking little rifle, and a good caliber. Quite an interesting gun, thanks for posting.

I’ve checked on that rifle already, it does not letter with the 22 inch barrel. Everything else shows up on the letter.

Hi Don,

Yes, I found that one and already had it from another auction site. That’s a good looking deluxe in original condition, and priced right so far. I like the smooth steel buttplate, those aren’t found very often on the 1894s.

Happy New Year
