Thanks Mike. Acquired mostly due to condition. I have my pre-war DOM 1939, which is in the 2024 calendar April and thought this would complement it being the year after the war ended and being a flat band.

Hello Bert, got a very early one for you. 1946 milled flat band, knurled hammer, type 2 receiver, slotted tube cap 32 wsp. Checkered steel butt plate and is Serial no. 1367919. I love this thing! It is an absolute joy to shoot and has 98% blueing with very few dents dings or scratches.

Thanks for posting the information.  It is a very early serial numbered Flat Band (June 1946).
