Why log OUT?  I never do, except about once a wk, the system “outs” me, & I’m compelled to log-in again.

Gentleman,

If you are using a standard PC try this…  once you are in your browser, push the F5 key to refresh or Control-F5 to hard refresh (clear any local cache). F5 as in “Function key 5”.

If you are using a Smart phone, I have no idea… I still use an old style Flip phone.

Did anyone happen to figure out why visiting the forum’s website via PC or Iphone, or the fix?  When I go to the forums page whether its through the PC or Iphone, the most current topics, etc that are viewable are from Feb 6.  As others have mentioned in prior posts here, this information (posts, etc) is not updating unless you login.  As a guest the last topics or posts your able to see is from Feb 6.

I just viewed the forum while logged out and only saw posts up to Feb 6 as well.  Everything is up to date while logged in though.

I didn’t mention anything earlier here on this but I am also having some difficulties with viewing as it seems the sight has some issues. I do try some of the tricks mentioned as it does help and I’m seeing some improvements but it just seems this sight is slower to respond in comparison to other forums. IMO!

Thanks,

Anthony

I have to login the past 2-3 weeks to view any updated post. It’s not like it use to be where you could just click on the forum and be current.

This is my experience also – as long as you log-in first it is fine – if you do not log-in first you are just looking at old posts. The issue is the same for me whether on a i-phone, laptop or desktop.

something strange going on – just now I tried to find the recent post regarding the 86 which Rholes and Madis wrote letters about and the post(s) are not to be found – they were there half an hour ago?

This is the message I got starting about two weeks ago when I tried going to the forum the way I always go to it.  I’ve had to find different ways to access.

Yup, still having the same issue if I dont log-in whether its by phone or computer.  If I open the forums page today, without logging in, the most current post on the forum topics page is from 2/6/2024, but if I click on say “Winchester Rifles” to view the different posts, the most recent post is updated to only 2/22/2024.  Cant view anything further in real time unless you go through the process of logging-in.   I know some stay logged-in 24/7 which is fine, but for guests or potential future members, what value is it providing if they are experiencing the same or cant experience the real time post updates.

Just want to browse by whatever means without logging in, and if I want to post something, then log-in as it was before.  Ive tried everything but nothing seems to work to correct the issue.

I hate to beat a dead horse but I’ll be the spokesperson here for several of us that are still having issues with the website as it pertains to updated threads & signing in. We used to be able to just press on the app(cell phone), or book mark(desktop/laptop) and all threads and replies were current. Almost a month now and it still taking us to the sign in process every time a new reply is posted or just wanting to view the forum content. I know a couple members have stopped viewing the forum on a daily basis due to this. If there’s anyway to contact the website provider and resolve this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RickC

Gentlemen,

I have contacted the appropriate people, and I assure you that this issue is diligently being worked on.  Please be patient… new & changing technology is sometimes a tricky thing to navigate.

That stated, please report to me any new or different bugs & issues that may arise.

Thanks,

Opened the forum a little while ago and got a “welcome back Burt Humphrey” message. No biggie, today was day one on a new computer system at work. 49 days to retirement!

Retirement, I did that once back in 2010.  Keep busy and you’ll love it.
