Thanks for your warm welcome. I am an older guy that bought my first Winchester in the 1970’s. I still own it.

I have pictures but the button above will ask me for the source. The source is my computer. How does this work?

Thanks Mike,

At the bottom of the post editing window is an Upload Attachments button.  Select it and an area to drag images appears.  You can directly drag an image or multiple images from your computer to this window. Select the Start Upload button and the image will appear in your post.

How do I drag images?

You guys have very different software from all the other forums in my world. I am in the SWCA and CCA membership. Also ODT. Also the Colt forums.

I sincerely apologize for my lack of understanding your code. I am an old guy.

Doc-

Not many young folks around here! Instead of drag & drop try clicking on “ select files” and then “add files” and follow the prompts. You may need to downsize the file if a high resolution pic. Sometimes my iPad likes to rotate pics.

No, your link is not showing any pictures. Instead, it is asking for a Login ID & password.

The software we use is quite modern, but it is purposefully set up to prevent non-members and all of the foreign based Spammers from posting junk, spam, and pornography on our website.

As a WACA member, it is relatively easy to post pictures if you follow the instructions found here – Posting Pictures – 2024 | Forum Rules and FAQs | Forum | Winchester CollectorWinchester Collector

Many thanks from a new member.

I had to print Bert’s instructions for the picture download. I am sure my kids will help me. 😉

I look forward to searching the Winchester database for more info. I bought my first Winchester 94 in ~1972.

Thanks Bert,

I am getting more familiar with it. Better yet is reading the older issues of “The Winchester Collector” magazine. There is great stuff in those magazines.

Many thanks Henry,

I bought my first Model 94 in 1974. I still own it. I have added several since then. I found this place 50 years after my 1st purchase. Cool

Is there a thread here for Winchester guys to relax and talk about guns, or is this all about the Winchester tech?

I only have four pre-1964 Winchester rifles that all Model 94 from 1931, 1947, 1949. and 1950 (all 20″).

It is harder and harder to find them locally.

I must mention my Winchester Model 74 in .22 (all of the 22’s). 23″ barrel. It was built in 1942.

I was 12 years old when Dad and my Uncle Bob let me shoot it. Dad had served Our Country in Korea while Bob was in the Battle of The Bulge in 1945. They were real hero’s.
