I remember you posted this gun earlier this year. You put it up for sale.

As I whittle down my contacts with the outside world, I find myself hanging on to the few remaining little mysteries and dramas. Wondering here, what’s up?Lost, stolen, . . . ?
No mystery if you’d read Henry’s post about his Paterson “misfortune”–the ’94 was part of the 125 Gs ripoff he sustained, if I understand the matter corectly. Only mystery to me is why he’d be willing to PAY to get it back; I’d want to forget, if possible, the whole episode.

Maybe we should help Henry move on.
Meh, if that were the case, we wouldn’t start new threads that cite other “for sale” threads and leave people hanging.

Thanks, mrcvs. Sorry to hear about that.
I still don’t get it on the 94, but I guess it’s a touchy subject so I’ll find my mysteries elsewhere. I’ve been enjoying the Longmire series.
Yup The ’94 was part of the trade deal on the “Paterson” , the ’94 and $80,000.00. Being out of the country it is very difficult to do anything, legally. I don’t think I could buy it back but I would like the guy that has it to know How James Neikirk come by this gun, and that He bought the gun from a scammer. Doug Turnbull did the restoration on the gun, mainly because it was beyond repair and it is one of a kind .
