Heck with inflation, that is cheaper than the original sale price!
Good deal for somebody. I’ve already got a set. Great book.

That is a good price. You can sometimes get it cheaper on a no name auction house.

It’s a auction with no bids, time will tell what the sale price is. I would insure for full value and bid with the shipping cost considered. Great book if you are collecting 73’s. T/R
I saw someone in Tulsa selling the survey booklet for $30 but if anyone whats a copy I have it in a pdf that you can download.

Bob, I have never seen the survey booklet. What is in it?
Chuck,
It’s a spiral wound booklet with 73’s listed by serial number that turned up in his survey. He listed them starting at serial number 6 and went to serial number 720610, approximately 4000 guns. The information on each gun was gathered by him or other collectors that contributed information on their guns. A survey of 1873’s. Sometimes it only included rifle, carbine, or musket and caliber. Other guns might have additional information such as barrel length and type with codes for features and brief notes about the gun. Examples of notes: short, redone, stolen, cut, restored, tacks,”Buffalo Bill”, and anything that caught his eye.
It’s 110 pages of known serial numbers. Tom
Chuck,
It has the 4000 guns that Gordon used to derive the rarity and the statistics. It has general configurations and some condition remarks but no info on where he saw it.
