Glad to see them start to arrive- gives me hope!
The slow boat from China arrived at my pier yesterday afternoon!!
Glad to see they’re finally showing up. Thanks for staying after them, Heather Martin!

Maybe for the Summer issue we could contract distribution to the Sinaloa cartel. They get deliveries done despite all manner of obstacles. Nationwide, these days. Just have to make sure they get paid timely.

Somehow, Bill, I suspect our prospective partners in the Sinaloa cartel would be unaccustomed to providing accurate tracking information of their shipments. I’m frankly amazed at the tracking capabilities of our various parcel and mail delivery services. I’ve documented some monumental “misdelivered” situations in a previous life. I’ve learned that if it absolutely, positively, has to be there overnight don’t use priority overnight services. Too many folks have the opportunity to drop the ball. Ship it ground, it shows up when it gets there. Sometimes a forklift runs over it or a conveyor mangles it. Either way, the carrier will deny responsibility and deny the claim.
All kidding aside, thanks again, Heather!

I finally got mine the day before yesterday.

Mine came on a Thursday. I think three weeks ago tomorrow? I don’t understand how the postal service can be that inconsistent.
What does it cost per issue to mail and are there alternatives?
I think years ago the postal service tried to be competitive with other competitors and after being in the red for so many years and using Covid as an excuse, their business model is it arrives when it arrives.
First Class mail isn’t what it used to be. Not surprising as we slide down the rungs and become closer to a socialist state.
