Here is the link so everyone else can see it. He originally posted it for sale for 1.5 million and then apparently upon reflection decided it was priced too low and doubled the price a week later 😀 one never knows I guess!

Yes, and AI seems to have the data to back it up. Pure fantasy, certainly not “one of one”.

There were only two Winchester rifles embellished and displayed by Tiffany for the 1893 expo. Tiffany did not offer Winchester rifles in there sales catalogs. This mirror was the advertising to help publicize the relationship between the two companies.
What makes you think it’s worth $3,000,999? Three million can still get you A LOT!
To be honest with you, your mirror was manufactured about 40 or 50 years ago, something you see at a flea market for $75, you negotiate to $50 and still question if you didn’t get burned on the deal.
There’s an almost identical one to yours on eBay now for $345 which hasn’t sold because it’s priced at 5 to 10 times what it is worth.

Genuine made Tiffany products exude quality, artistic flow with intent…and above all “classic appeal”. The subject “mirror” seriously is lacking in all areas… interesting side note…. several years ago, a “run down” bar was sold to some investors that wanted to start a “micro brewery”… the old bar was called the Olympic Club, in Centrailia, Wa. It had a pretty notorious history… to walk into the place at the time of it’s sale, it was pretty dreary… dark… little light from the front windows… it also had a drop ceiling… the price & sale were negotiated… subsequent “renovation” revealed that behind the drop ceiling were several Tiffany ceiling lamps w/ drop chandeliers…w/ glass windows above to allow natural light in during the day. The new owners were obviously ecstatic and the former owners obviously broken hearted… the Tiffany lamps were valued at more than what was paid for the entire building. Rumors swirled that the lamps were to go to auction and be replaced with reproductions… I never heard the final outcome of that part of the story… but those lamps are absolutely stunning… (shown in the bottom pic). Hey, Doug Hart… can you go visit and take some pics for me? I’ll buy your first round for you & the mrs. 🙂 Cheers…

I have seen enough genuine work by Tiffany to know that the mirror in question is not a creation of the Tiffany Studio. But the O.P. need not take my word for it; he can contact ANY acknowledged Tiffany expert or recognized appraiser and then he will be told the truth he does not wish to hear.
There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

I purchased it from a man who bought it at an armory auction in london in 1970. He was one of the owners of Lucid lines in Culver City CA. Lucid lines copied the mirrors design and mass produced it using an acid etched process.
