Casey

No idea, suspect anything 50 cal is worth a premium.

Casey,

Can you send me some pictures of the box and other items? I’d like to have it for my survey.

Mike is right, anything 50 Caliber is worth more. A far as scarce, majority of the other calibers offered in the 1894 Reloading Tool will be found before locating this one. Other than the odd ball calibers like in 42 Russian or 43 Spanish or 44-77 Patched will be located after this one.

I’m still trying to do research on these to figure out how many were made.

Sincerely,

Maverick

  Casey,

All 50’s are hard to find but this one is the hardest. I have owned several 1894 tools in 50 express and 50-110, sold them in the last three years from $800-$1200 depending on condition. None had a box. Have only seen one 50-100-450. I’m thinking north of $1500 in that condition without the box.

There was a collector from Kansas who set up at Tulsa lower level west side, he had a 50-100-450 tool in a poor box not much finish. It sold for $1500 maybe 12 years ago. He died shortly after and his son has been selling his tools from the same table since. T/R
