Maybe they were reading this thread.  

Maybe, they are well aware of this forum. I and other members of this forum have worked with Morphy in the past. They would much rather identify a problem gun before it is sold and take the appropriate action then instead of the paperwork and customer relations hassle after the sale. Good people.

I see it closed for $11,400.  That is just $600 short of the high estimate.
