Are express sights and a shotgun butt common on a 92.
The are common on the Model 1892s exported to the UK and its colonies. The overwhelming majority of all Winchester rifles that were sold to J. Kerr in London had round barrels, shotgun butts, and express sights. The same holds true for those that were sent to India.

Tks Bert, is there any records that may contain info that my 92 may have been purchased by Kerr in London
I doubt the Cody Firearms Museum will have much info on it.
The only records I’ve ever had any luck finding out of Europe was of the John Rigby & Co. The company still exists and they still have the records from the late 1700s.
If anyone else finds another like resource, I’d be glad to be informed of it.
Sincerely,
Maverick

The CFM does not have specific records, but you might try researching the J. Kerr company. The British are famous for keeping records for a very long time.
