Alright, yes, I know, I’ve been going to Tulsa since 1980, and I missed it. Couldn’t be helped. I have missed so few. So, I heard everyone had a great time and lots of fun as always. Some tables were slow, and I have been told by some friends they sold a bunch, so I guess it was your inventory and pricing that made the difference. Just too much happening here to get away, BUT, alas, Denver is just around the corner in May and I will be there! So if I missed you in Tulsa stop by and say Hi in Denver next month!
I picked up the three receivers that are pictured in the Gordon book on page 196 that are samples of receivers in various states of polishing that were kept in the factory. I also picked up a real nice box of Winchester 44 Henry flats with the impressed H way under the money.
The tables that were the busiest were the ones selling modern powder and ammunition until they sold out. I bought some powder myself on Friday and when I carried it out on Saturday I just about got mugged from a guy asking where I got it or would I sell it.
