When / What Year did Winchester start putting the two digit barrel date markings underneath the forearm?

Roadking has (had?) an 1894 30WC TD rifle DOM 1920 with "20" date stamped underneath the barrel. I believe this is the earliest we have seen on here so far. Previously I believe accepted wisdom was 1924. Someone will correct me if I am wrong, and maybe Roadking will chime in.

Serial number 924812 (PR – November 1920) is the earliest confirmed with a "20" barrel date. Admittedly, I have not looked at very many of them manufactured in the 1920 – 1923 time frame.
