3Dub or Bert,
Another few for ya,
Erin
Erin,
Thanks for the heads-up.
Edit to add:
As regards your earlier question about an estimate of how many round barrel Model 90s there are; I sorted through the available data in the survey and found that Bert's off-the-cuff answer of "1 in 1,000" is probably a high-reasonable estimate. I will make it a point to include barrel type in my future note-taking.

Erin,
Based on the current survey results thus far, if any gaps do exist, they are relatively small. Based on the Polishing Room records, I personally do not believe that any serial number gaps exist. That stated, for the Model 06, the last serial number in its on sequence per the Polishing Room serial number records was 685999 (on 3/10/1926). When the Model 06 receiver production was merged with the Model 90 receiver production on 3/11/1926, the serial numbers began with 713200. Therefore, it could be misconstrued that a "gap" exist between serial numbers 686000 - 713199 for the Model 06. From serial number 713200 to the end of production (serial number 854747), there is an intermix of Model 90s and Model 06s (and a small number of Model 62 & 62A) rifles.

Thanks Bert! One more question if I may...…… What is the highest # you have recorded in the survey so far? Not the known one from the polishing room, the one you have documented.
Erin
854659, a Model 90 22 Short with a 23-inch round barrel. It sold in the May 2000 Rock Island auction. Per the PR records, it was serialized July 20th, 1942.

Thanks again Bert!
I found another one, it's been so heavily modified I don't know if the data is any good. The only redeeming factor is the caliber, I don't know if anyone would intentionally change it to a long.

Interesting; SN 734301 - exactly 500 lower than Chuck's 734801 just two posts before yours. I thought I had a typo in there somewhere.
Thanks,
