Welcome to the asylum, Ron! Sweet 65 in a sweet cartridge. Good luck on your quest for the 71. It’s a bit of a beast by comparison but has its good points.

That is a gorgeous Model 65. The 32-20 version is scarcer than the 218 Bee (although you’d never know it given the popularity of the 218 Bee). I had a nice Model 65 in 32-20 but not in as nice of a condition. The 32-20 cartridge is one of my favourites for taking care of Racoon and Woodchuck problems around the yard or down in the bean field.

It is absolutely gorgeous! I fell in love as soon as I saw it. Awesome design and this one is in very good shape for its age. I hope I’m looking halfway that good at age 82, lol
