As I literally stepped out of the house to catch a flight to the Reno show back in Nov, my wife told me not to bring a rifle back with me. So I didn’t. Wife was happy. But what she didn’t know was that I kept tabs on a rifle I really liked at Reno and bought it after I returned home. Most of the rifles I acquire “speak” to me and I like this one primarily for its fancy stock, Lyman and Beach sights. The Beach sight has lots of gold left on it.

The set trigger and shotgun butt were just a bonus to me.

The admonition you received before leaving home somehow sounds familiar. I wonder if we are alone in receiving it? In any event, good attitude, nice gun, beautiful wood!
