I love a good mystery, this issue has two!
I finally received the Fall 2023 issue and enjoyed reading about Tom Robinson’s quest for the first 1866 and Mike Henneberry’s article about the hidden evidence (another 1866!) that could have cost George Swepson his life or at least liberty. The amount of documentation uncovered in Mike’s investigation is staggering and the conclusion is very clear. I wonder if someone on the investigation team was sympathetic to Swepson’s cause and intentionally overlooked or didn’t bother to discover this key piece of evidence. As always the Goles delivered an excellent article on cartridge display boards but I’m saving Tim Tomlinson’s article on his eye candy 1873 for another time. I know next to nothing about the Model 2400, looking forward to Keith Nix’s article.
I’m so glad my issue finally showed up, thanks to our member authors and editors for putting out another outstanding magazine!
Mike
