Ben,
Of the four standard Model 64 calibers, the 25-35 WCF is the least common. Based on my 20-year survey, just 4.66% of the production consisted of 25-35 caliber Model 64 rifles.
What is the serial number and variation on the rifle you are acquiring?

Ben-
I’ll bring the popcorn. It’s all I’ll be able to afford this trip. I would like to see that rifle before you rip Doug’s head off selling it to him but maybe he’ll let me see it afterwards.

It will be in Cody… just bring a bigger wallet… there’s a certain Vaver sight someone requested and don’t forget about a certain .243… 🙂
And here I thought we were friends
I am trying to sell more than I buy on this trip. We will see how that works out.
See you guys there.

1753219 30WCF
i love those 64’s and always looking for great ones.
thank you
Hello JMR,
OK, I have a few questions for you…
S/N 1329516 — are you sure that it is a Take Down? To the very best of my knowledge, Winchester did not ever manufacture a Model 64 Take Down. Can you send pictures of the rifle to me?
S/N 1138377 — I will assume that it is a 32 W.S. versus a 32 WCF ? Does it have a flat (uncrowned) muzzle?
S/N 11164441 — Flat muzzle ?
All five of your Model 64 rifles are new serial number entries in the survey !

You are correct, the “takedown” was a typo when I copied and pasted the info from my file that came over but not part of the 64’s (corrected in original post). And yes to your other two questions. Indeed 32 WS.
also, I added another 64 to the original post in 219 zipper (SN: 1171943).
thank you

Awesome!
What type of rear sight is on the 219 Zipper… e.g. a No. 98A bolt peep or a 22-H sporting sight?
