I’ve been a WACA member since 1990-91, recently I’ve come to the realization that many of the membership that i knew back then are gone. They for the most part didn’t die, they seemed to have just dropped out. I wonder why? Some that I still am in contact with gave me reasons I feel are inappropriate to discuss here. I just wonder if the “Long Term Leadership” of WACA have any idea as to why they would have dropped out.

Larry,
I do not understand your motivation or reason for posting this question on an open forum for all to read unless it is your intent to purposefully stir up some form of malfeasance. If you have a beef or issue with the “Long Term Leadership” of WACA, do not use this forum to insinuate that it is “inappropriate to discuss here”. For what it is worth, with the exception of just two members, all current WACA “leadership” personnel have been elected to the Board of Directors in very recent years.

I’ve been an active member of other forums and organizations. In some cases my interests changed, I wasn’t contributing or I wasn’t learning anything new. Sometimes it’s time to move on. I’m glad you’re still here, Larry, even if some of your friends may have moved on. OTOH I suspect we have many members who simply lurk and seldom, if ever, post.

Mike,
Good point, I have a very narrow Winchester interest and tend to “lurk” on all the other (centerfire) topics as well.

I was one of the oldest & most active members on the old Maj. Culver’s US military board, until his idiot widow, who had inherited control of it, appointed a flagrant liberal to be a moderator; then I “resigned,” & not quietly. Stand for something, before you die.
