Just a reminder, TGCA Spring Show is in Waco April 26-28. Waco Convention Center, adjacent to the Waco Hilton. Theme is “Parade of Winchester Brass”, should be of special interest to collectors of Volcanics, Henry’s and 1866 Winchesters, and anyone else who enjoys seeing them.

Mike, what time does the show open on Sunday morning,? I’ve got to attend my friend’s wedding in Taylor and the dinner afterward, so no chance for Saturday. However, we’re staying in Waco so might look in before heading back.

Be sure to hit that BBQ place in Taylor if it’s still there!

Bill-
Show opens to the public at 9, 8 for TGCA members. Devotional service at 7. I would advise arriving early, some of the best displays start packing up much earlier than we’d like but sometimes they have a lot of work to do and a long drive when they’re done.
Hope you can make it, please look me up. Looking forward to meeting you.

Morning, Jeremy. Probably will miss BBQ this time. We’re on a short fuse. But I go through Taylor a couple times a year and will give it a try.

I’ll be a new vendor setting up three tables for first time at this venue. All lever action Winchesters.. Anybody with special requests PM me and I’ll see if I can throw it in also.
Looking forward to meeting you, Pat. Looking forward to seeing three tables full of lever guns! We have some very serious Colt collectors but a growing number of Winchester collectors and WACA members. I like the venue even though the Denton venue is practically in my back yard.
Safe travels!

It was great to see Pat, Jeremy, Chris and Bill down in Waco this weekend! I trust you all made it home safely, I suspect Pat and his bride are still on the road as I write this. Sales were a bit slow but the TGCA folks know how to have a good time. The “Parade of Winchester Brass” theme was a huge success with some exceptional and historic Volcanics, Henry’s and 1866’s. The Saturday auction was pretty special as well, someone scored a fIring replica Gatling Gun in 45-70 for a fraction of what most folks believed it was worth. They had to post a guard to keep me from trying out a few of the hundreds of blanks that were included with the gun. I figured if they wanted me to help disassemble and assemble it a test fire session was only reasonable. Apparently I was mistaken.

When End of Trail was still in Ca. we could pay a couple bucks a round and fire a gatling gun. I got to try it a couple times with live rounds.
