Hello everyone, I need some info on this wooden case. It is for an 1873 Winchester. There are no markings on it to tell of a maker. Can anyone help tell me more about it? Thanks!

I saw one that I think was about identical to this – probably 35 years ago. A dealer had it. I’m pretty sure it was made for a Model 1873. I recall it had no makers mark as that was something the dealer was puzzling about when he showed it to me. I’ve never seen anything like it since, but it would appear I have see two of them now. The alternate explanation is this is the same case I saw all those years ago
