OfflineBill-
Nice! Y’all have fun. The more I look at that truck the more I like it. I remember seeing a nice 53 5-window around here as a regular driver awhile back.

OfflineVery nice
I learned how to drive in my Dad’s 1955 Chevy Apache truck. Shortly after a began high-school, he gave that old truck. It was built like a tank, and it had a top speed of 69 mph. It had no turn signals or taillights, so I had to learn and use hand signals.

Here’s the family’s 1951. Pretty much all original straight 6 and still on a 6Volt electrical system. The only thing my dad added a few years back was he finally decided to put an electric fuel pump on it. Shockingly it starts a lot easier now! My dad is the third owner and in the glove box is the receipt where the original owner bought the 51 with a Trade In with this 1925 Model T Ford. Oh and he swapped the wiper blades out but the originals are still in the glove box as well. Dad took it to a car show probably 10 years or so back and some dam kid stole the original gas cap. So its a replacement as well.
Sincerely,
Maverick
