Folks, Dan shared his knowledge and his collected treasures. He often was the source of rare cartridges for me, plus some guidance to find further information. Little by little we are losing these folks, without others coming along behind. You, and I, hopefully try to pass on some of our knowledge. But I don’t write books. Dan (and Judy, for that matter) was just a fine person! Tim

I’ve had thoughts along the same lines, Tim. I enjoyed Dan’s articles, one of them was helpful for me when writing my 1903 article and some of his research was helpful on another project. I was looking forward to visiting with him in Cody this summer. I’m so glad he shared so much of what he found, his writings were the results of decades of research.
