Not to mention, also more accurate than Longs. I’ve never had a Long that would not chamber L.R. And if the L.R. bullet is engraved by the rifling when seated, so much the better.
I once had a ’90 marked Long that would feed L.R. through the magazine, but I assume someone modified the carrier; I appreciated it!
….but I’ve learned there are more than a few “collectors” out there with more dollars than sense. I suspect some of the top end guns go to corporate buyers who are more interested in exclusivity or other factors than value. ..

I agree and feel the same towards those buying fancy “total rebuilt- reblued – bright color case hardened- engraved- xxx restocks “, to which they have no connection.
