I talked to him last week and also on Christmas day, he is doing ok but recovering from some health issues.
Hopefully he will be back online soon.

Reading this post I Clicked on his name and his account is restricted so I’m not sure if this is a computer glitch or something I missed. Might be the reason he’s not on the forum lately.
No, it is not a “glitch”. It was deliberate, and it is a direct result of his flagrant refusal to use appropriate language on the WACA forums. In the 17+ years that I have been the WACA forums Admin, he is just the 2nd person that I have put in the penalty box.
These WACA forums are here to discuss Winchesters and firearms related topics (and yes, we sometimes wander off of those topics a bit). However, the WACA forums are positively not here to discuss Politics or any other controversial topics, and they most definitely are not to be used to post offensive acronyms. Clarence was warned in the past (more than once) to refrain from those issues, but he intentionally or purposefully chose to ignore those warnings, consequences be dammed.

I suspected something like that happened after one of last posts he was involved with about the author of a old Winchester letter.

I applaud Bert and the management of WACA for finally taking a stand and the required action. I had complained numerous times that he was beyond offensive and insulting to other members, residents of other states which he assumed were ignorant, and so many other petty reasons that he hated them. This forum should be professional, inclusive and fun. I won’t miss his absence.

I can’t say anything negative about the Man, I’ve never met Him. On the contrary I’ve found Him very Knowledgable on the subject of Winchester on this site. He may be a little “course” in His posts and obviously course enough to be penalized. So be it. Hurry back Clarence.
