OfflineFrom Brad and Rob’s article on pages 20-1, it appears there is a comfort in carrying a few extra rounds for your Winchester.
Thank you to All who create these WACA magazines for us to enjoy. The publication is “slick” in appearance and in content, and such a pleasure to settle into and enjoy.

OfflineBrad,
Your piece in the magazine was a wonderful history lesson for me. I knew a little about the people involved in the revolution, but the text and the illustrations–the specifics of the people involved and the task of procuring arms and ammunition made the struggles more concrete.
My “Thanks” to you and Rob.

OfflineThanks Gary. Thanks for your short rifle article also! I know we have a lot of very knowledgeable members out there and we’d be happy to hear more about articles they’re interested in submitting for the magazine.
FT Woods: Maybe that article is more of a glimpse rather than a lesson. It’s an extremely interesting subject for me and there is so much more to it. I’m glad to hear you found it helpful.

OfflineRather than start another thread on something simple like this, I thought I’d raise this one up to the top. I just got my 2nd issue of this magazine and have to say it is one of the most enjoyable magazines to have around. Everything about it is top notch. Thank you for the efforts.

I really liked the article by Dan Shuey on the proof marking process. I want to be on the list to buy the 1895 book too.

Hi Chuck
Glad to hear you enjoyed the article. Dan has been a really great contributor to The Winchester Collector. He has been an incredible help to us in writing our Model 1895 book as well.
We will continue to put updates in the magazine and here on this forum as the book gets completed and becomes available. I’m happy to hear you would like a copy. Thanks!

Brad,
Yeah I hadn’t gotten mine in the mail as of yet. But I did see it is now on the WACA website. Great magazine articles and great work! As always, keep it up!
Sincerely,
