I concur. He is just 7000 short of Bert.
Yeah but Bert is a Forum Administrator, so I think you’d kind of expect his to be that high.
Bob is just your run of the mill collector!
I wonder how many Phone Call Replies Bob has had over the years. I know I’ve spent a few hours on the phone with him.
Thanks for taking to the time and patience for all those responses.
Here is to another 5,000!

Maverick

Thanks all for the compliments. The main goal of this forum is to help other collectors or beginning collectors make wise decisions or to educate them on what they have, unfortunately some don’t find this forum before they purchase. I’m a firm believer in keeping my posts short and educational. Putting your email address out there does add a lot of people contacting you with questions, some I can answer and some I point them to someone that can. They figure if you can fix one model you can fix them all.

Wasn’t meant to downplay what Bob does for us. It was more of a poke at Bert.

Poke ??
I believe that I have been posting on the WACA forum for at least a few years longer than Bob has… and Yes, as the primary Administrator, I do tend to get involved in a lot more topics than Bob does… he stays focused on one or two models, whereas I get easily distracted with a LOT of different models

12,017.
Bob has been the best source of info on the ’73 for sure for me.
Texas A & M has a firearms museum and they had a ’73 1 of 1000 on display.
I sent pics to Bob and he looked up the serial # and he said it was for a carbine.
I notified the Curator and she discovered they had listed a wrong serial # on the info tag.
Ha! Bob was right on again. I love it.
He also sold me a fantastic ’73 in much better condition than I could find.
I enjoy shooting it and admiring it.
Keep up the good work Bob we really appreciate your great input.
