Is there something I can read to understand how to do this.
Good morning, Michael. There may be a tutorial but I haven’t seen one. It isn’t necessary to list your memberships etc unless you want to. The way you do that is to open your “Profile” and edit your “Signature.” Click on your own picture to get there.
As for icons, there are some I never use and don’t understand. The important ones are in the upper right hand of a post, a flag, a pencil, and a quote mark. The flag is to report a post that violates our rules. The pencil allows you to edit a post you’ve already put up on the site. The quote mark copies the text in an existing post, opens a new proposed reply, and replicates that text in a gray background block at the top of the new proposed reply, the block being captioned as “Blabbermouth said:”.
Does this help?

"I have seen wicked men and fools, a great many of both, and I believe they both get paid in the end, but the fools first." -- David Balfour, narrator and protagonist of the novel, Kidnapped, by Robert Louis Stevenson.
In general, if you take your cursor and simply move over the “Icon” in question. Not clicking on it but hovering over it. It will tell you what said Icon is for or means.
