Friends, I’m new to this forum but have been collecting for many years. I was approached by a friend to sell a model 94 that he inherited. My collection is mainly prewar Colts so my knowledge of Winchesters is limited, that’s why I’m asking your help. My research shows manufacture 962957, in either 1920 or 1923. It’s chambered in .25-.35, has an octagon barrel and half tube magazine. The bluing is fantastic, the screw heads and rollmarks look crisp and original. The quality of the bluing impressed me that it is original, I look to you for your expertise on this and pricing. The rifle is for sale, I just don’t have an idea on fair pricing. I appreciate your help and knowledge. I’m having trouble loading pics, any advice is appreciated. Please contact me and I will send pics until I can figure out how to post.
Pete,
If the rifle is factory original, it is potentially worth a fair amount of $$$$. Can you provide clear detailed pictures of the rifle to include the factory markings on the barrel?
The serial number identifies it as a September 1923 production Model 94.
