I am looking for a letterable 1886 in 33 wcf with a 20″ barrel in order to fill out My collection. Please let Me know if You have one to sell or have a lead.

I have 5 1886 rapid taper 1886 33 WCF rifles in various configurations. A 22 inch barrel, yes.

A 20 inch factory correct barrel will be as common as proverbial hen’s molars. Good luck. But, you may know that.

Off the subject , I saw back awhile ago you had some 45-90 wcf. Do you still have some/ How about any 33?

Yes, I have several boxes of 45-90 and 33 wcf for sale.

5 boxes of OLD WESTERN SCROUNGER 45-90 300 GRAIN. $100 each.

9 boxes of Remington and Winchester 33 wcf. $100 and up

That is a nice rarer 1886. The Lyman 21 receiver side sight

is an excellent addition. Have one on a 1904 1886 FM 26 inch barreled 33 WCF.

Ben Lilly carried a similar full length 86 in 33 WCF in the mountains of NM-AZ… after lion and bears in the early 1900s.

An article on Lilly  with his hounds and Winchesters will be forthcoming soon

in the Collector magazine.
