Wish I could. A lot of snow and health problems preclude me from going. Good luck to you. You seem to have some nice stuff to sell. Big Larry

Thanks Larry,

I would have enjoyed meeting you. I sold a couple tonight, and hope more tomorrow.

However ( ! ), having only been at this a few years, I have made some rookie errors in over-paying…..emotion over prudence.

I’m getting better, and at this show am paying my dues by selling under my buy price. Corretions and moving on.  I do hope to do better on something that may come along.

I’m sure this revelation is bringing a few grins to this forum full of seasoned pros….. and memories too !

Oh well, marching on, and loving it.

Take Care,

Bill

Guns shows are a lot of fun, especially when the venue is held at a place where if you get bored, you can always play the slots like I used to do.

Best part of these shows is the comradery. I always did the shows with my B.I.L. which at times was a hindrance,  as he collects the same things I do.

You learn a lot at these shows as there are many folks there with similar likes and are really glad to help you out.

Deals are made, both good and bad, but we tend to learn from the bad ones.

Reno was always a good show for me. We never had to pack up on the last day, as we sold just about everything we brought. Brought all the stuff we bought to our hotel room daily so we would not be tempted to sell any of it. The last rifle I bought there was a standard M55 I bought from Larry Shennum. I now have some health problems to overcome before I can go back.

Enjoy the show and the likes of Larry, Bert, and Mr. Rick Hill. Many more I have not mentioned. Good luck to you.   Big Larry

Doug,

If you can, post a few pictures. The values depend on so many things, and of course, age too.

Throw out a good description and let’s see what the Forum guys come back with.

Bill,

It was a pleasure seeing you at Reno and you had some great guns on your table.  I am glad the 55 found a nice home.  Hope to see you again in the future.

Best Regards,

Jeff
