Will someone please explain the term “bump” as regards pricing? Thanks in advance. BK
Don’t know if this is the context you’re referring to, but to ‘bump’ up an item/post on an Internet forum means to bring it to the top of the page….

Needs some context here? I mean are you talking about a bump in the price?
Are you talking about a “Henry Bump” or what?

Suspect this is what it means, especially if it refers to some item listed in the “for sale” section that many forums have. If the latter, it probably also means the item was priced too high originally.
It is exactly as Ted describes. If an item doesn’t sell before it gets buried in the pages, if you reply to it with bump it will bring it back to the top for first place viewing again.
