I know saying “like new” is a bold statement that usually is not true especially on a 70+ year old firearm!
This is a model 12 that I don’t believe has ever been fired, it was a safe queen of a friend that I picked up after his death. I ran some oil in the receiver when I got it and I didn’t get any burnt carbon, just a bunch of old oil!
The bluing is 100%, there is not a mark on the stock or forearm anywhere, all screws are clean lines with no marks…it literally look like a brand new gun. I was very excited to pick up a model 12 for wild bunch shooting but cannot and will not subject this beautiful firearm to that abuse.
It was manufactured in 1945 based on the serial number 104XXXX, I am happy to provide pictures to anyone interested.
The complete serial number will allow me to determine the exact Month & Year it was manufactured, in either 1944 or 1945. You can send pictures to me, and please include clear close-ups of the proof mark stamps on the frame ring and barrel.
