Help with selling a Model 53 25-20|Winchester Swap Meet|Forum|Winchester Collector

It is a gun I inherited long ago and would like sell.

I am not in the hobby and know very little about guns. But the beauty of a Western style lever-action rifle is not lost on me.

So, I need help cleaning and making it as presentable as possible, and on how to best sell it.

I provided information about it for the WACA survey and was told that the metal had been refinished.

Some parts are quite rusty. 

It is serial #6189.
