Got it I think now. Little more subtle difference than I was looking for at first….thanks gentlemen…..sooooo much to learn as a quasi-newbie. Pretty overwhelming 🙂

Here’s an example of the variety of Winchester sight hoods.  You can see the slots vary from hood to hood.  Couldn’t get them to stay “upside down” to get a good picture, sorry.  RDB

I have a similar accumulation of Winchester front sight hoods, it would be really good to know what rifle each was intended for.

Thank you, sir! Wow, that’s very different. I had my “new” 64 shipped directly to my gunsmith/FFL for servicing (he waves the transfer fee with that) so I don’t have the serial number or gun in front of me for a bit still.

I will share the info if you’re cataloguing the 64 like you are the 53 or 55 I recently sent you…

Jeremy

Yes please… I would really appreciate a good clear photo of the front sight ramp on your Model 64.

Bert

Bert, do you also need similar info/photos of a 64A? I just got one, but the 64 is still at the smith. I’ll send some of both to your personal email once I have the other gun back.  JP

Bert, I just realized I never circled back and got you the Mod 64 pics I promised (including the clear front ramp sight you asked for, which now has a hood on it)….I will do that for you soon.
