I have a model 24, serial number 4529.  It has 30″ barrels and I wonder how to determine how the barrels are choked.  Does anyone know the diameter of the chokes?  I could check them easily if I knew.

I just measured the barrels and they are .693 on the left and .715 on the right.  I guess that would be as I thought, modified and full.  Full should be in the .695 range and modified about .710.

Also I read where the 12 gauge with 30″ was offered in Mod and Full only so I guess I have answered my questions.

I would love to use this hunting but won’t be able to shoot any steel shot through it, confirmed.  I would prefer improved and modified but it is what it is.  🙂

Confused
