Hi All,

I was wondering what you all might think of this Winchester 94 below on GB?

I need a new 94 for deer hunting and wasn’t sure if this was in the early 1980’s production or not.

thanks for the help!

Justin,

It is a 2005 production Model 94AE manufactured by the U.S. Repeating Arms Company. At $1,499, it is over priced (in my opinion). You can be a decent pre-64 Winchester Model 94 Carbine for that money, and it will go up in value if properly taken care of.

For that money, I would look at Cabelas used guns for a pre-64. I bought one from them two months ago for $750, they shipped it to my local Cabela’s where I picked it up.
