To the best of my knowledge the Model 94,Model 55 and Model 64 were the lever Winchester rifles made in .25-35.

Don’t forget that there where a few in the model 1885 as well.

There were at least (72) high-wall rifles chambered in the 25-35 WCF.

I think the Model 92 was also offered in the .25 WCF caliber.

Oops, sorry about that. I forgot that the .25 WCF is the .25-20 cartridge, not the .25-35.

Wouldn’t the Winchester in question have the Model type bigger than Life! somewhere on the piece?  Am I missing something?

I’m betting it is an 1894 with a tang sight.  That would explain no visible number.
