The tang sight on your Model 94 Take Down rifle is a Lyman No. 103 micrometer wind gauge sight. The odds are very high against it being factory installed (but not impossible). The CFM does not have the records to verify it. The correct application code (stamped on the underneath side of the sight base) is “DA”. Aftermarket installation of that sight does not negatively affect the value of the rifle, in fact, it enhances it. Lyman No. 103 tang sights sell for a minimum of $450 these days.

Yes just took it off says DA on the underside I appreciate the information.

You also can remove the sight and see if the bluing under it on the upper tang is perfect. If so, it’s likely original. If not, it’s a later addition.Your rifle is too late to letter.
The code under your sight should be “DA”.
