I’m new to the forum and new to the model 94. Trying to figure out this rifle that was given to me. Everything I’ve looked at online is different than this one.
First the magazine tube band is under the site and closer to the tip of the barrel. Others are in a different location further down towards the receiver.
Second is the notch on top of the receiver near where barrel connects.
And third is the extra screw on the receiver.
Could anyone please help me figure this out and why I’m seeing lots of different things on this rifle compared to every other rifle I’ve seen online.
Your Model 1894 rifle has been altered. Both the barrel and the magazine tube have been shortened (cut down). The original length of the barrel was 26-inches and the magazine tube was full length to the barrel.
Your other pictures did not load in your post.
