I hope to sell this Saturday. Need value from you experts. Model 1892 25-20 with refinished wood, rebarreled Model 65, shortened magazine. I have been offered $650. Should I have taken it?
Yes, you should have taken the $650. At best, you might squeeze an extra $100 – $150 out if it, but the buyer would have to really motivated to own it.

I second this! Reblued, rebarreled, and refinished and in .25-20. Not much going for this rifle. If you can get $650 for this rifle, take it!

I would tend to say that the $650 offer is worth taking. But… I have often been quite surprised by what some altered, poor condition, refinished guns will sell for on Gunbroker. You might get another $200 for it but that most likely won’t change your lifestyle. Ask the original person if he “can get” to $750 and then let it go if he does.
