Something I take away from this is the incredible longevity of the rifle and cartridge designs and how regular hunters and shooters, not just collectors, still regularly use a cartridge like the 30-30; first released about 120 years ago.

Great video, but didn’t this air 10-15 years ago? Towards the end of the video they talk about a 1998 Butterfield & Butterfield auction of a “1 of 1000” going for $100,000. I would think that the value has gone up and I believe that very same rifle has since been resold several times and a couple of different auction houses.
