While perusing the recently posted Amoskeag auction catalog I found this listing – Winchester Model 1894 Trapper Carbine (amoskeagauction.com)

For those of you who are looking for something that is truly “rare”, this Trapper qualifies for that adjective.  Of the (838) Model 1894 “trapper” SRCs Carbines that I have documented thus far, just (8) of them are 32-40 caliber.  This particular Trapper Carbine is the highest known serial number in the 32-40 caliber.

Cool! Can’t say I’ve seen an 1894 SRC in 32-40, now I know why. Sounds like seller knows what he has. Could be interesting.

Hi Bert, is that an SRC? I did not see a saddle ring on it?

It is not a “SRC”.  It would be more correctly referred to as an “Eastern” Carbine due to the lack of a saddle ring.
