Does anyone know where I could buy a main spring for my rifle. It was made between 1943 and 1948 from what I can find. First time posting, new guy here. Thanks.

eBay is another good source. I have had great luck with a seller named drwinchester1873

Popperts probably has the best prices.

Welcome, Terry! Brownell’s and Gun Parts Inc (formerly Numrich) are other good sources. Brownell’s also has an excellent selection of tools and helpful tech folks. Homestead has OE and repro parts. They also have a few guns for sale.

What is the serial number? Chances are good I can provide you with a much more precise date of manufacture.
