Hello,
I’m new to this forum but and am hoping im in the right area. I recently purchased a 1894 Winchester in 38-55. It seems to be in ok shape and the serial number is 524. Is there someone who can give me some insight into this rifle?

Your Model 1894 is an early (first year) production rifle, manufactured November 5th, 1894. If you can do so, please send pictures of it to me so that I can fully identify the specifics about it.
