Interesting but the hunting scenes look like child’s drawings and the stock fit is poor. At least he seems to have good taste in wood. I can’t agree less with his quote. Eye of the beholder, apparently. Maybe I could get him to make a set of bookends for me.

I find it interesting to say the least, but don’t consider it a “Collector Grade” Winchester by no means.
I’ve seen this guy’s work before. A while back two other similar rifles sold. One had a Ram’s Head at the grip, and the other I believe was a Buffalo head. One of which I think may have been made of Ivory.
They were interesting, but they don’t look very comfortable. I also don’t think you’d ever want to take them hunting.
Sincerely,
Maverick

At least he attempted to do a good job on the roof of the lion’s mouth.
Yes, a few continents represented in the images….Yuck. A lion with non-kitty eyes. Trees from fairy tales. Shooter’s thumb over top of the barrel/sight…not to mention the arm’s extreme length. Engraving that disturbs the fine lines of the receiver. Forestock is an artistic muddle at the barrel band. Buttstock is for left-handed shooters only (unless you want to test what that eagle will do to your cheek.
And a non-1894 WINCHESTER in scene!
Mom would tell me now, “If you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all.” So, I’m already in trouble…I’ll shut up.

The word Gaudy comes to mind!
Grotesque comes to me. Like I said before: a freak show in wood & metal.
I agree with all the comments. As Mike pointed out earlier, the builder’s philosophy is very hard to agree with:
“The ornate designs on the rifle follow Rojas’ design philosophy which comes out of respect for the firearm. In an interview he stated, ” The gun, thanks to it, we have certain freedoms. But it lacks, lets call it, good taste. A custom gun looks pretty. It removes the ugliness.“
I see no respect for the firearm in what he has done to this carbine. And to state that a gun in original configuration, lacks “good taste,” compared to what he has done! Crazy! And so say what he has done, “removes the ugliness.” Delusional!

Absolutely. And it only takes one! Frequently we criticize sellers who advertise a flawed piece at a ridiculous price. However, it doesn’t matter if none of us would ever consider their offering. All they need is one buyer. And much to our surprise, their fishing expedition often reels one in. We shouldn’t be surprised as we all have seen, over and over, that P.T. Barnum was really right.
