Pat,
Based on what I have observed, case colored hammers, levers, and crescent butt plate plates were still being used as late as 1914. I do not know what the actual cut-off date/serial number was for the various lever-action models. For the Single Shot, case colored hammers, levers, breech blocks, and butt plates were still being used as late as 1918, but it simply could have taken Winchester several years to use up parts on hand.

What Year did Winchester quit case colors on lever and hammer for the Model 1892?
Hello,
I have tried keeping track of blued vs case colored levers in my Model 1892 survey but it is extremely difficult since so many levers are so worn that the original finish is almost always gone. I do find some CC levers into 1916 but not afterwards.
