If you owned a nice M70 with a Monte Carlo stock would it be more or less valuable if the stock was for a left hand shooter? I do suspect the right side cheek would be a lot more rare but would it increase or decrease the value on the open market?
Open market–decrease.
The more buyer you have the more you can get for a gun.

If I bought a nice Model 70 I would want to shoot it. If I were a left handed/ left eye dominant shooter I would give more for your M70 than your average buyer. Lefties are very good at adapting to our right hand world but they appreciate when things are made for lefties. I was raised by a lefty who could swing a hammer and bend a nail equally well with either hand. He owned only a few guns, none left- handed.
