Well looking through the GB ad on my Samsung phone, it took 19 screens to get through all the BS. My screen length is approximately 6 inches, so right around 9 1/2 feet deep according to my calculations.

Same blithering idiot (to put it charitably) has been here before. I first encountered him in an ad for a 1903 Springfield. Every one of his moronic masterpieces follow the same ludicrous pattern of lunatic-fringe nonsense, every gun a one-of-a-kind museum piece, “untouched factory original,” etc.
But the most amazing point to be made is that there are obviously so-called “collectors” who eat this drek up! Of course, we continually see similar exhibitions of ignorance & mendacity on GB, but his are literally sui generis, making the wildest claims of P. T. Barnum seem modest by comparison. How could any sane reader fail to recognize immediately that the seller is a nut-case?

I like his photo setup. I like the rifle. Beautiful; yes. Original; no.

Perhaps the person who wrote the description was misinformed. It happens! RDB
Grossly misinformed in more like it… or much more likely, just a plain old B.S. Artist
Wouldn’t say “plain,” ordinary, or commonplace. The most notorious GB hypesters & hucksters, even Dad’s Old Guns, are by comparison Honest Abes & Shrinking Violets. But I hesitate to call him a knowing crook, because a knowing crook would probably realize that laying it on this thick, to such a laughable degree, would be counterproductive. Rather, I’m more inclined to think the loud-mouthed fool actually BELIEVES this rubbish, or most of it anyway.
