Some folks have no taste whatsoever. Imagine, some fool actually paid good money to turn a Winchester into that monstrosity.

My thoughts exactly… but I just had to share it with all of you. I found it while perusing all of the Winchester listings in the October RIA auction catalog.

p.s. on second thought, it might look real good mounted in the rifle rack in my truck. Talk about bragging rights at the hunting camp!

Same gun or another just as sickening appeared in another auction a couple of yrs ago. Probably a diff gun, as it was hyped as the work of a “famous” artist.

I think that rifle would look great in the rear window of your “Arrest Me Red” Dodge diesel pickup…. Totally in character… 
But I kind’a like it…. Here’s one I sadly failed to buy a few years ago… A Model 70, of course… Probably also the work of a “famous artist”…

Why? Just why? Looking at the carving, I’m thinking it came out of Mexico with that eagle/snake work…. P.T. Barnham’s saying will be alive & well with that one come auction time….
I think you guys should all pitch in a few $$ for “Bert’s” gun fund so that I can buy it, and then have it put on the cover of a future WACA Collector magazine. I promise that all funds donated and collected will go towards the purchase of that “embellished” (ugly) orphan
